Learning to be Kind to Yourself
This webinar is an introduction to being kind to yourself. Whilst we know that being kind to ourselves can be incredibly powerful and can benefit both physical and mental health, it is not the easiest thing to do. This webinar will introduce you to the idea of compassion, why it's important and how to start applying it to yourself. We invite you to try the techniques along with us and begin your journey today.
This 45 minute webinar gives an overview of the systems that govern sleep, normal stages of sleep and describes why problems can occur. It introduces CBT as a method to improve ‘Sleep hygiene’, to restrict sleep to promote better quality sleep, and to use ‘stimulus control’ to strengthen our natural cues to sleep. The webinar covers ways to manage anxiety and worry around sleep, and concludes with making a plan for what to do next for your sleep.
Coping with Pain
Living with pain can have a significant impact on our mood, motivation and energy levels. It can be common to feel low due to the recurring pain which we experience. If you are experiencing chronic pain, why not view our pre-recorded webinar for some useful hints and tips. The workshop will cover look at the CBT model, pain cycle and deconditioning. We will look at boom and bust and how we can find ways to manage energy levels and pain, as well as going through some relaxation techniques that can help manage symptoms.

This pre-recorded webinar aims to help give you some CBT based techniques to help with your COVID recovery experience which is different for everyone. It covers strategies to manage breathlessness, fatigue and tips to sleep better.
Access our pre-recorded webinar which will teach you what assertiveness is, how to recognise assertiveness and how to think and behave more assertively. We will cover how to reduce physical tension, how to say “NO”, how to deal with criticism as well as how to deal with disappointment. You can also learn how to give and receive compliments better.
