The living with a long term condition coping tool box webinar is suitable for people who have recently received a long term health diagnosis, or people that have had a diagnosis of a LTHC and that want to improve their wellbeing with a variety of psychological strategies.
The coping tool box webinar/workshop can help you understand your experience, and some of the changes and challenges that you might encounter now and in the future. This could be with your day to day activities, emotional changes, and taking care of your health.
We will learn about what is coping and how changes in our life, can challenge ways that we have managed before the diagnosis.
We can learn new strategies and techniques that are simple and pleasant to understand and use, that could improve our wellbeing and enable us to manage our day to day experiences of living with a LTHC. We also will look at what we do that is helpful in our actions and things we might do to cope that can make us feel worse.
The Webinar/Workshop is called a coping toolbox, as there will be a variety of suggestions to help you cope and manage with your health and mental wellbeing on a day to day basis.
We will explore the link between our thoughts feelings and health, how you can improve your day to day experience possibly with worry and low mood and if needed how to access specialist support.
