Given the current guidance on social distancing, we are mainly offering support by telephone, video call, or online, with very limited capacity for face to face appointments.
The service is accepting referrals as normal at this time and you will be contacted to arrange a Telephone Assessment in the usual way.
Our Covid-19 webinars still run weekly for people who are experiencing difficulties because of the outbreak or associated isolation. However, as lockdown restrictions are being lifted we are looking forwards to how we can support you in returning to a new normal.
We will continue to provide therapies by telephone, video call, or online where possible. However, you may be offered a face to face appointment if this is not possible.
If you are invited to a face to face appointment you will be asked if you or anbody in your household have any of the following symptoms:
- A fever
- A new continuous cough which is unusual for you
- Any change in your sense of smell or taste
You will also be asked to wear a face covering and social distancing will be observed at all times.
Milton Keynes Talking Therapies is offering free, confidential support for local health and social care staff who are directly working in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. You may have worries about your work or wider concerns about your family and home life and we are here to help.
Support is delivered by qualified therapists and counsellors either on the phone or online.
If you need to speak to someone call our dedicated Staff Support Line during working hours (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) on 01908 724240.
